Jesus and His Jewish Influences
For anyone interested in the profound impact Jesus had on the world, it’s important to realize that his actions and teaching didn’t emerge from a vacuum. They were the product of a fascinating dialog with – and reaction to – the traditions, cultures, and historical developments of ancient Jewish beliefs. Early Judaism and Jesus are two subjects so inexplicably linked that one cannot arrive at a true understanding of Jesus without understanding the time in which he lived and preached.
Join our Religious Studies class as we tackle this interesting course. We meet on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM in our church TV room. Questions? Call Bonnie Racho at 570-788-4775
Will continue to meet each Tuesday morning at 10:00 am. Please join us!
