Biweekly Bible Study - Christan Conversations
This is our Bible study where we talk about current events and how we can react to them in light of our faith and the Bible. This is not your typical Bible Study but is filled with good conversation about God, the Bible, current events, and how our faith calls us to live in light of all of these things. Come and join us every other Wednesday at 6:30pm. Our next Christian Conversation is March 9. If you need to, you may join on zoom as well using this Link.
Families Growing Together
This is a new small group only for the season of lent. If you want your family more invested in their faith, want to talk about God and faith more with your family, or want to grow closer to God as a family together, then this is the small group for you. This small group, called Families Growing Together, will meet once a week on Tuesday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the church office, from March 15 to April 12, with a break on April 5, as that is when church council meets. This gives us four weeks to talk and grow during the season of lent. The group will be a mixture of Bible study, prayer, faith filled conversations and activities, and spiritual practices all designed to have families talk about faith and grow in faith together. The group is designed to be attended together with your family. That includes both immediate family and extended family. We hope you will be able to continue the practices of this group at home with your families so you will all continue to grow in faith and discipleship together. Bring your family and let's grow closer to God together.
Lenten Lunches
Every Wednesday in Lent, after Ash Wednesday, each year we hold what we like to call Lenten Lunches. We invite everybody in our community to come to the church for lunch at noon. During these lunches we will have a brief time of worship and fellowship while we reflect on the meaning of Lent, preparing for the cross and the resurrection, Good Friday and Easter. Each week we invite a different pastor from around the region to come and lead us in worship and offer a short homily on the subject of Lent. Lent in 2022 begins Wednesday, March 2, meaning our first lunch will be on March 9.
