TAG Youth Group

We have a vibrant youth group that we call TAG. Our TAG Youth meet weekly for fun, fellowship, games, and the opportunity to grow in faith together. We currently meet each Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the church. On occasion, we will also go out into our community to serve or hold a fundraiser here at the church. We also go on an annual trip to Ocean City MD for a youth rally, where lifelong faiths and friendships are forged. Most of our fundraising efforts go toward this annual trip. Sunday School

Our Youth Sunday school ranges from 6-12 grade. We meet at 9:15 on Sundays in the youth room. Our curriculum focuses around asking real questions and exploring what the Bible and church says about both life issues and faith issues. It’s a safe space to share what you believe and what you are going through in life with friends and mentors.

Confirmation

Confirmation is the process where youth learn to take their faith into their own hands, confirm what they truly believe, and become official members of the church. Our confirmation class is for those 12 and older who have not yet been confirmed in the church. This class is designed to help our youth ask questions about their faith, God, the Church, the Bible, and life so they can figure out what they truly believe. We also teach in this class exactly what it means to be a Methodist and what it means to become members of the United Methodist Church. For each confirmation class we also plan a trip down to Philadelphia to learn about Methodist history in the USA. Our confirmation class currently meets each Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the church social hall. The current class will last through early June 2022.
