Serve in the CommunityJesus Christ spent his whole life serving and loving others through service. We believe that God calls us to be servant-hearted as well and show our love for God and others through our service. Here are some ways you can serve in our community.

Food Pantry

Our local food pantry serves our community through the collective efforts of nine churches in the Sugarloaf Valley region, who support the pantry with donations, coordination, and volunteers.. It is run completely by volunteers who want to make this interfaith ministry succeed. Each week our food pantry serves around 60 families, providing them with nutritious food for their families as well as fresh food from local farms. They are always in need of food donations to help feed our community.

In October our church is gathering thanksgiving stuffing for the food pantry so they can put together a thanksgiving meal for all they help. They are always in need of general food donations as well. To donate food, simply drop it off at any of the churches within Conyngham. To drop off food in our church please put it in the shopping cart in our social hall. If you want to volunteer to help at the food pantry, or you know somebody who could use a little extra help with food, contact our church office at 570-788-3960.
